Usool Al-Tafseer
Usool Al-Tafseer, also known as Ulum Ul-Quran, is the study of the Quranic
Sciences. Usool Al-Tafseer refers to the branches of knowledge necessary for
providing an accurate interpretation of the Qur'anic texts. It a vast field of
Islamic Scholarship dealing with the study of Quran in its: revelation,
compilation, preservation, order & arrangement of the text, the classification of
verses and surahs into Makki and Madani abrogation amongst various other
fields of study associated with any aspect of the Quran.
